Pastor Gabe Brennan

Gabe is the church planting pastor at Future City Church. He loves to see people experience Jesus in fresh ways. He also enjoys some good folk music! He and his wife Melonie have been married for 15 years and they have 4 boys who all love basketball. After graduating from Moody Bible Institute and Bethel Seminary, Gabe pastored a church in Western Wisconsin for 8 years. After a fruitful time of ministry, he and Melonie felt the call to return to their home state and explore options to start a new work somewhere in the Twin Cities.

Through a time of prayer and waiting on God, they began to lay the groundwork for a church in the fall of 2021. Together, with an energetic team, they hope to make Jesus more visible in the Northeast Metro. Gabe has a passion to see people activate their gifts and enjoy Jesus more deeply. Melonie loves to create a joyful culture in their home and cherishes meeting people, going out to eat and sunny days. Their family lives in White Bear Lake, MN and has a perfect front yard for throwing a football!

The Launch Team

Our Team is made up of people from our sending church, friends, family and neighbors who love Jesus and want to make a difference in the world. They come from different backgrounds, walks of life and even countries! Some are mechanics, nurses, full time moms, truck drivers and teachers. We are so blessed to have a terrific group of people who are united in the same cause: to enjoy, follow and share Jesus together. Some members of our team have been a part of a church plant before and some are experiencing this for the first time. Everyone has unique gifts to contribute to the forming of this culture. It has been amazing to see these gifts activated and pursued for Christ's glory. And yes, there’s still room on the team! :)
