Jesus is the Supreme, All Time Great Person in the universe. He is the One all the love songs point to, the superheroes aspire to be and the One your hearts longs to know. He is Lord, Savior and a fantastic big Brother! His gospel is the good news that Christ has secured salvation for you through His life, death and resurrection.

"For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God." Ephesians 2:8

People want to be happy. And that's a good thing! This is part of what it means to be made in God's image: to be joy seekers. We want to help people find true happiness in a restored relationship with God through His Son, Jesus Christ. God is the Joy Giver, the truly Happy One. And He likes to share. :)

"These things I have spoken to you, that my joy may be in you, and that your joy may be full." John 15:11

Jesus calls the church a city on a hill, the light of the world and the salt of the earth. We preserve, create, and develop culture! As a community of Jesus followers we want to see the Kingdom of God evidenced right here where we live. This is a kingdom of light, truth, justice, goodness and grace. As a church we get to help spread these good things into the world around us.

“You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do people light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a stand, and it gives light to all in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven." Matthew 5:14-16

Even in a fast paced world, people can get stuck! We want to help people get "unstuck" and take next steps of joyful obedience to Christ. Our church culture relishes the daily pursuit of Jesus. We have not arrived! But we have a great Leader Who will finish what He has started.

"Therefore, my beloved, as you have always obeyed, so now, not only as in my presence but much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling, for it is God who works in you, both to will and to work for his good pleasure." Philippians 2:12-13

You may not think of yourself as innovative and creative. That's okay! God is. He is a deeply creative God Who makes no snowflake, fingerprint or sunrise exactly alike. And that's true of His church, too! Jesus has given His people gifts that declare His character and beauty in unique ways.

"Now there are varieties of gifts, but the same Spirit; and there are varieties of service, but the same Lord; and there are varieties of activities, but it is the same God who empowers them all in everyone. To each is given the manifestation of the Spirit for the common good." 1 Corinthians 12:4-7
